Event Horizon - directors cut?!

ich schau gerade auf pro7 event horizon.. und heute habsch gehört, das es bald einen directors cut geben soll.. noch blutiger und brutaler als der film bis jetzt ist..
kann jemand das gerücht bestätigen??

ich war vor ca. 4 jahren bei event horizont im kino, damals b-movie und per zufall gesehehn, und kann nur sagen das die tv version geschnietten ist....

das stimmt.. ich kenn auch die kino version.. aber es soll demnächst ja eine version noch rauslommen, die 25min mehr blutiges material hat..
kann das jemand bestätigen?

Und was lernen wir daraus, wenn ein Regiesseur seine Arbeit immer und immerwieder umschneiden muss, damit es der Produktionsfirma (wie bei "Gangs of New York") oder der MPAA (siehe DePalmas Interview auf der "Scarface"-DVD) in den Kram passt?

Wenn ihr jemals nach Hollywood kommt und einen Film macht, SICHERT EUCH DIE FINAL CUT RECHTE ! ! !

die lösung haben wird doch schon. erst der loserpalast bzw. loserstaat und jetzt das loserstudio

"I just did a commentary for Event Horizon, because we're releasing a Special Edition of that next year with a lot of deleted scenes," Anderson told Now Playing Magazine in an exclusive interview. "And I went in and did a truly awful commentary for it that I'm going to redo! Because it had been so long since I'd seen the movie, I just started watching the film and enjoying it, and didn;t remember to say anything. And after like an hour and a half I;d said about 10 minutes of stuff."

"Paramount has sold so many DVDs of it that they've offered to do the fully-fledged 'You can reintegrate the scenes and we'll pay for it to be remixed and everything' version. The problem has been actually finding all of the materials because it's been quite a long time, so we're still at the point where we're trying to decide if it makes sense to do a director's cut or whether [we should just include] a lot of deleted material with a separate commentary explaining why it was taken out and where the scenes would have gone. Or we may do a branching version of the DVD so you can see where those scenes may have sat."

Wenn ich was dazu sagen darf, Event Horizon lief im TV uncut, und zwar IMMER ! Wer denkt, da fehlt was oder dass es ne 18er gibt, liegt definitiv falsch. Und die Geschichte von dem Dir. Cut ist so alt wie der Film selber.

Hm.... stimmt, kam ja nun schon zum 5. mal auf Pro7, und ist alles als uncut in der Filmdatenbank. So kann man sich irren.
